Engage in a student fight

1.    Introduction

Fighting which is done by a group of teenage, especially a group of student. Fighting is already become a topic which is familiar in our hearing. Fighting is not done by senior high school students and university student but also by junior high students.

There are so many students having a hunch that fighting as a solution to solve the problem which is effective. This is become the real evidence that a intellectual person can do anarchist.

2.    Definition of engage in  a student fight

On the Indonesian dictionary, fighting means fight which is done by group of people and Student is a human who learn. So the engage in a student fight is fighting which is done by a group of people who is learning.

According to psychology, fighting which involve the teenage, it means as a juvenile delinquency. In this case, juvenile delinquency is divided become 2 kinds of delinquency. That is situational and statistics.

a.         Situational delinquency is fighting happen because there is situation compel someone to fight. That necessity appears because of problem must be solved quickly.

b.         The statistics delinquency is when the teenage in a group or a gang and the gang compel the member to follow the role and the norm, belong to the fighting. As a member, a credit to do the group role.

According to Huwari (1997) one of the causes juvenile delinquency are the parents are not function as the example figure. So here the parents as a instructor for their children to have good behavior.

Fighting happen usually cause of make a crack each other or just observe intently each other. Besides take away the girls can be a reason.

3.      The examples cases

a.       23 Maret 2006 in the Palembang city. There happen a engage in a student fight between SMK PGRI 2, SMK GAJAH MADA KERTAPATI and SMK N 4 ( Harian pagi Sumatra Palembang ekspres).

b.      12 juli 2006 university student of university of Negeri Makasar mixed up fighting peer of colleague. It happens because pro and contra upsurge the university lecture cost.

4.      The data

This is a data which is got from Polda Metro Jaya on the subject of engage in a student fight.

On the 2010 there are 128 student fighting cases. The cases increase more than 100% on the 2011. it is about 330 cases which kill 82 students. On the January – June 2012 have been happened 139 student fighting which kill 12 students.

5.    Conclusion

The students who usually teenage still labile and can do everything they want. There is possibility will damage themselves and others. So that parents figure have to direct them if suddenly the children do the false. Teacher as a educator can be personality instructor so the student will be good person.  Student fighting become bad thing on the education in Indonesia. So Let break and love peaceful.
